We are excited to share some pivotal investments that we have made this year at Essex, your trusted, Colorado-based commercial mortgage banking firm. These upgrades position us to better support our clients, strengthen our capital relationships, and operate at the highest level of service, expertise, and integrity.

New Team

Over the past year, we have transformed our team into the next generation of leadership. In early 2024, we had two significant promotions: Paul Donahue to Partner and Blaire Butler to Senior Vice President. These well-deserved advancements are a testament to Paul and Blaire’s contributions to the organization, commitment to serving our clients, and expertise in commercial real estate capital markets. We also added a new Partner, Aimee Love, who joined us from a successful career in regional banking – bringing a unique perspective and diverse network to the firm. This new generation of leadership will guide Essex into the next tier of best-in-class advisory as well as strategic growth of the firm.

In addition to the leadership changes, we have also added an analyst, Kyle Rivera and an executive business administrator, Caroline Smith. Kyle and Caroline join Nate Schneider, Matt Perigard and Andrea Mehlem to add to our talented group of CRE professionals that allow Essex to consistently provide exceptional knowledge and service. With the next generation of leadership in place, Essex is pioneering a collaborating platform approach to building our business. This model enables us to grow stronger connections, leverage collective strengths, and elevate our effectiveness in achieving our client’s objectives.

 

New Location

After a long office tenure in Lower Downtown Denver, we have relocated our corporate headquarters to the vibrant and capital markets-centric neighborhood of Cherry Creek North. This move aligns with our corporate values of being a part of the local community, as well as prioritizes employee satisfaction and provides for a dynamic atmosphere for client and capital provider interaction. We hope to host you soon!

Rebranding and New Website

We are thrilled to announce that we have rebranded and launched a new website. This fresh look reflects the next generation of Essex and our commitment to long-term growth and excellence. “Essex” has great brand recognition in the market, as a long-time fixture within Colorado’s CRE debt advisory services and capital distribution network, but we decided to replace “Financial Group” with “Real Estate Capital Advisors” to better describe our business and services.  In connection with the rebranding, we have new email addresses – updated vCard’s are attached. Technology

We have invested in technology to ensure maximum efficiency and expanded capabilities. This year, we implemented a new CRM system and successfully transitioned to become a cloud-based company, which allows for scalability and advanced security.
