Jon Franklin

Jon Franklin serves as Chief Financial Officer at Essex, where he provides strategic financial leadership and drives long-term initiatives across the organization. With a career rooted in residential and commercial real estate and property management, Jon brings deep expertise in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis and balance sheet management.  As CFO, Jon oversees Essex’s financial strategy, capital structure, and risk management at both a corporate and individual investment level. Jon is passionate about developing high-performing teams and cultivating a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration. He plays a key role in shaping Essex’s strategic vision, aligning financial objectives with operational priorities to drive long-term value creation. Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Lehigh University.
